Ankargården Hotel & Conference

Ankargården is a charming guesthouse located right by the Öregrund archipelago in northern Roslagen. The house dates from the 1800s and was previously part of the town's city hotel, but has undergone renovation in recent years with modern bathrooms while preserving its authentic character. You stay just a stone's throw from the harbour and the sea with views over the glittering water.

Öregrund is one of Sweden's best-preserved wooden towns and the only town on the east coast where you can watch the sun set over the sea. From the hotel you have a short walk to restaurants and bathing rocks. The area offers plenty to experience all year round – from archipelago cafés and garden cafés to historic sites such as iron works, rapids and Stone Age burial sites.

Practical information: Check-in between 15:00–17:00 and check-out 11:00. There is free street parking. Dogs are welcome for 150 kronor per night. Cancellation is free up to 7 days before arrival. Öregrund is approximately one hour from Uppsala by car.
