Bistro Jernet is located in Österbybruk, in the heart of the Walloon ironworks — the cradle of Swedish industrialism. Here Österbybruk put Sweden on the world map by mining ore and producing and exporting bar iron. In Österbybruk you can feel the breath of history and almost hear voices from the past. Bistro Jernet is a newly opened café set in the manor area of Österbybruk, a stone's throw from the smithy.
Here you can have a fika or lunch in a manor setting. Salads, sandwiches and home-baked treats are served. You can sit indoors in newly furnished premises or outside on the terrace at Stallbacken. The menu includes, among other things, the "Bistro Burger" — pulled pork in a bun with tortilla chips and trimmings — and the "Patron's prawn sandwich" with 200 g of prawns. There is also something to drink. Bistro Jernet is fully licensed.
