Burvik Golf Resort

Burvik is the place where slag golf was invented. The course is slope-rated for play from white, yellow, red and orange tees. There is also a 3-hole pay & play course as well as a large practice area and range. Cabins and caravan pitches are available to hire by the course, about 100 m from the first tee, as well as golf carts and trolleys. Burvik's seasonally open golf restaurant is located with a view over the golf course.

Golf packages are available including accommodation and green fee, with accommodation in self-catering cabins.

Cabin rental at Burvik Golf Resort: The cabins are self-catering and are located with a view over the golf course's practice area. The caravan and motorhome pitches have a view towards the course's 18th hole. Burvik lies between Uppsala and Norrtälje, about 90 km north of Stockholm. There are 10 golf cabins for 4 people with 2 bedrooms (2 beds per room) as well as 2 golf cabins for 2 people (1 bedroom with 2 beds). All golf cabins have a living room with TV and sofa bed, a dining area and a self-catering kitchen, plus WC/shower. The kitchen has a stove with oven and microwave, a coffee maker with filter, and a fridge with freezer compartment. All cabins have direct access to a shared yard with seating and barbecues. Adjacent to the course there is a fully licensed golf restaurant, open May–October.

Burvik Golf Resort is an area where accommodation, golf and nature are integrated with each other. It is 100 m from the first tee and about 200 m to the clubhouse with reception and shop. Here you can park the car and play golf. Whether it's for two people, a larger party, corporate golf, a conference or a junior camp, booking is done by a phone call to the reception.

The golf course: The golf course is ranked by Golf Digest as the best in the Roslagen area and the third best in Uppland, and its seventh hole was mentioned by Svensk Golf as one of Sweden's 100 best golf holes. The course was designed by Bengt Lorich and is adapted to the Roslagen landscape with juniper slopes, oaks, rock faces and watercourses. The course is adapted in length so that even those playing from the red tee get to use every club in the bag. After 9 holes you pass the restaurant for a break and refreshments. Water stations are located at the lower clubhouse, at the 3rd green, at the kiosk by the 10th tee and at the 13th tee. Toilets are in the clubhouse, at the 3rd green and the 13th tee.
