Bygdegårdsföreningen Societetshuset Källör

Over the years, the original building has been rebuilt and extended to suit the needs and style ideals of different times. Källör is located in what during the seaside-resort era was called Badhusparken (the Bathhouse Park) or Engelska parken (the English Park), from which many of the trees are still preserved. The park also had a tennis court, a croquet lawn, a fountain and a music pavilion. Källör is the last larger building remaining along the seafront promenade from Östhammar's seaside-resort epoch and its time as a trading and shipping town. The association has an open-ended right-of-use agreement with Östhammar municipality that allows it to use and restore the building. All work is done by volunteers, with many local companies as sponsors. The goal is to restore the Källör Society House to a more original condition and run it as a public function hall, organise events and rent out premises to companies, associations and private parties.
