Café in a Listed Building from the 1890s

Café Parkvillan is located in a well-preserved villa from the early 1890s, originally built for Johannes Kruse, the head gardener of Bogesund Castle. The building is classified as a listed building and built in Swiss style, with characteristic features such as a gabled roof with wide eaves, rich wooden ornamentation and a balcony in typical style. All interior on the ground floor is preserved in its original state.

The café serves only homemade food and home-cooked meals. The outdoor seating is spacious with tables under leafy trees, and both children and dogs are welcome. Café Parkvillan is connected to Bogesund Castle via Slottsstigen – just a few minutes' walk away.

Along Slottsstigen you can see the ruins of Tyrolervillan, the old greenhouses and fields where hops were previously cultivated. The area also has Bogesunds Slottsvandrarhem and an old barn that can be rented for parties and weddings. The café also hosts groups of up to 12 people for private three-course dinners, Tuesday to Thursday.
