Café Truten

On the idyllic island of Rödlöga, at the far reaches of the Stockholm archipelago, lies Café Truten – a summer café in the outermost ocean zone. You can reach it by Waxholmsbolaget on a day trip or by your own boat.

The café's focus is on home-baked and handmade items in a unique range. All bread is baked in its own bakery, including a sourdough bread made from freshly ground organic flour from Swedish farms with flavors of anise and fennel. The ingredients are local and organic.

Café Truten's aim is to make the archipelago's culture and environment accessible – while at the same time managing and preserving it – through rural Swedish food made by hand.
