Djursholms Ridklubb

Djursholms Ridklubb (DRK) is a riding club with a long history. At the riding facility at Gärdestorp in Djursholm, riding activities have been conducted since the late 1800s, and certain parts of the facility date back to the 1700s. The club was founded in 1925 and offers both riding and an active club community.

The club arranges regular competitions for members, from beginners to more experienced riders. DRK also collaborates with other riding clubs and events in the area. Training includes both practical riding and theoretical knowledge about horse care – all beginner groups receive theory lessons on how to handle, groom and saddle a horse correctly.

For members there are activities on afternoons in the theory room, and the club shares knowledge through a YouTube channel together with Djursholms Ridskola. You can follow the club's current events on the bulletin board or the recreational leaders' Instagram.
