Eckerö Linjen

Eckerö Linjen runs cruise operations with the vessel M/S Eckerö and offers travel packages on Åland for both private individuals and groups. Through Eckerö Linjen you can book a room at most of Åland's hotels, a guesthouse or one of about 400 cabins all over Åland, as well as activity packages such as golf and fishing trips. Connecting buses run to and from the vessel from several towns; from Stockholm, Norrtälje and Uppsala, connecting buses run daily to all departures. On board there are several restaurants, the bar Klubb Kuling with entertainment by cruise hosts and guest artists, and a tax-free shop. During the summer months, part of the entertainment moves out onto the sun deck with live music. Mariehamn is Åland's only town and has nightlife, shopping, sights and beaches, with shops along the pedestrian street, museums and restaurants. Most things are within walking distance. Restaurant: on board M/S Eckerö, à la carte is served as well as a buffet in the buffet restaurant Bornholm. The boat trip between Grisslehamn in Roslagen and Eckerö on Åland takes about 2 hours one way. On board there is also à la carte in the restaurant Rospiggen and several meeting rooms. Eckerö Linjen works with small-scale producers in the local region in Roslagen and on Åland and uses seasonal ingredients. The menus vary with the season, and in the buffet restaurant the theme alternates between an archipelago table, an Easter table, a game table and a Christmas table. Conference: Eckerö Linjen has meeting rooms with a sea view that hold up to 80 people, and for larger groups the bus collects the guests from an agreed location. Activities: on Åland there is fishing, two golf courses, hiking trails, disc golf courses, sights and cycle paths along most main roads. Where the road ends, the archipelago ferry takes over, out to the islands in the outer archipelago. Eckerö Linjen helps put together travel, accommodation and activities for families and groups.
