Edebo Church is a typical Roslagen church built of granite in the latter half of the 1400s. It is documented that an earlier wooden church stood on the site earlier in history. In 1293, the first priest, Martinus, is mentioned.
Inside the church you are met by a radiant splendour by the "Edebo Master", who painted here around 1514. The altarpiece has a column arrangement in Baroque style that was probably added in the early 1740s. The pulpit is just over 20 years older. The bell tower, which stands on the other side of the country road, northwest of the church, is dated 1758. The large bell was cast in 1625. The church has about 250 seats.
