Eneby Church

A Modern Church with a Shared Mission

Enebykyrkan is centrally located at Eneby torg in Enebyberg and today functions as a collaborative church between two Christian denominations. The building from 1977 was designed by architect Janne Feldt and originally combined the church space with Enebyberg's library under the same roof. The warm red brick building with its wooden roof and laminated timber beams creates a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.

The church interior underwent an extensive transformation between 2003 and 2007 to become a shared spiritual meeting place. During the renovation, the church was furnished with a baptismal font, processional cross and candelabras, and the characteristic wooden roof was whitewashed. The church also carries historical continuity — the bell tower located here was moved from the former Mariakyrkan, which stood elsewhere in the area but was demolished in 2006.
