Estuna Church has roots from the time between paganism and Christianity and is possibly Uppland's very oldest. In the vaults there are remains of paintings from the pre-Gothic period with Byzantine elements. The later paintings depict sin, punishment and the reward of virtue.
The porch in Estuna Church was added in the 1400s. The altar was made by the carpenter N.J. Dahlström in 1764. The crucifix of ivory and ebony is from Rome and was donated to the church in 1783. The Rococo-style pulpit was commissioned from the sculptor Kindgren from Stockholm. The enclosed pews were added in 1732. The baptismal font base is the only furnishing remaining from the 1200s. Parts of the church silver remain from the Middle Ages.
