In Hargshamn, a small town about 15 km from Östhammar, you'll find this year-round campsite by the Hargshamn community hall. From the campsite it's a short distance to the playground, shop, restaurant and bathing spot.
Hargshamn is located by Galtfjärden and consists mainly of older villa buildings and a harbour that has been in operation since the 1600s. The community hall is directly adjacent to the campsite, and here guests can use the shower, toilet and washing-up facilities. There is also a shared freezer. When the premises are hired out, only the toilet is available, and access to the shower and washing-up facilities is then limited. In Hargshamn there is a marina, a bathing spot, a campsite and fishing opportunities. In early summer, Hargshamn is visited by recreational anglers when the herring run.
