Luxury camping on a private island in Stockholm's archipelago

Island Lodge is an exclusive glamping concept on the uninhabited island of Bergholmen, located in the heart of Stockholm's archipelago, approximately 40 minutes from Stockholm. The entire island is rented privately to a group or company at a time, and accommodates up to 16 guests in eight spacious geodesic dome tents of 18 m² each. The tents are equipped with luxury bedding from Mille Notti, wood-burning fireplaces and Scandinavian lounge furniture. Nearby are showers, sinks with hot and cold water, and toilets.

The concept combines authentic outdoor living with high comfort and is open during the summer season, May to mid-October. The all-inclusive package includes, among other things, SUP boards and kayaks to explore the island from the water, outdoor games, an open fireplace and a wood-heated hot tub at the cliff edge with sea views.

The gastronomy is handled by head chef Douglas Fagerman, who won World Championship gold with Stockholm's culinary team in 2014 and Olympic gold with the junior national team in 2016. Menus are adapted to the occasion and are based on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Optional extras such as RIB boat tours, seal safaris, sailing, fishing and helicopter flights can be booked to further enrich the experience. Transfer to and from the island is arranged by RIB boat, water taxi, yacht or helicopter.
