Kajak och Uteliv, Furusund

The kayak base in Furusund is located next to the Furusund jetty, in front of Furusund Värdshus. Here you hire a kayak for your own excursions, for example towards Högmarsö and Ängsö National Park, which are within paddling distance. The kayak base is staffed only with advance booking. For safety reasons it is recommended to paddle together with someone, and preferably that you have taken part in a guided tour or course or have a Paddle Pass from before.

Stand Up Paddle (SUP) means standing up on a board and getting along with a longer-shafted paddle. Here you can both take courses and hire boards for your own tour.

The business also arranges group events and conferences with kayaking in the archipelago north of Stockholm and can tailor conferences or other group events for groups of various sizes. There are also private lessons focused on the individual participant as well as the option of your own kayak guide during a one- or several-day kayak tour. Price on request.

Within walking distance of the kayak hire there is Furusund Värdshus with a hotel and restaurant, Furusund Guest Harbour with a harbour restaurant, an archipelago kiosk with ice cream and sweets, and a petrol station with a limited range of groceries.
