The old farmstead Labacken is located in Övra Söderby in Roslagsbro. This is where the Roslagsbro local history society (Sankt Eriks Gille) has its permanent base.
The farm was acquired in 1985 through inheritance/donation. Extensive restoration work on the dwelling house, barn and storage building has been carried out with the help of voluntary efforts from the Guild's members. On the farm you can learn how a country estate in Roslagsbro could look in the early 1900s. There is a large exhibition hall with tools from other parts of the parish. The Association Sankt Eriks Gille keeps old craft traditions alive, including through fence-weaving and harvesting of reeds for thatching. Labacken is open by arrangement and during events. Midsummer celebrations and guided tours are usually held here.
