Löfs islandshästar

At the farm in Vamsta, near the old Walloon ironworks of Forsmark and Lövsta, riding is arranged all year round with horses in the surroundings, starting at the farm in Vamsta. The trails run along wattle fences, through oak slopes, forests, watercourses and ancient remains. The tour ends with a shared fika. The business is aimed mainly at experienced riders, and you are given tools during the tour to develop your riding. The horses are well-trained, and the horse is adapted to the rider's skills. The tours are ridden in groups of between 2 and 15 people and are normally two hours long. Tours are arranged all year round and are not normally prevented by poorer weather. There is the option to tailor tours and arrangements for somewhat larger groups on request.

Regular tours: Riding is arranged all year round, starting at the farm in Vamsta. The trails run along wattle fences, gravel roads, through oak slopes, forests, watercourses and ancient remains. After the tour, you gather for a shared fika.

Vigelsbo tours: 8–9 June, 7–8 September. Day 1: Gathering at the farm in Vamsta at 9:00. Riding along the old church path out into the Uppland countryside, with stops for lunch and fika. The tour passes the forests of Krapelåsen and the Vigelsbo mines and ends at the farm in Vigelsbo. There is the option of a sauna and hot tub, followed by a shared dinner with drinks included. Day 2: After breakfast, the horses are prepared for the return ride, which goes through Berkinge to Åsjön where there is a stop for lunch and fika. On return to the farm in Vamsta, the tour ends with a shared fika. Price SEK 5,950.

Ironworks tours in Uppland: 26–27 July, 16–17 August. Overnight stay in an ironworks setting. Day 1: Gathering at the farm in Vamsta at 8:30. Riding along the old church path towards Berkinge ironworks, with a stop for lunch at the Berkinge bath. The ride continues via Åsjön towards Forsmark. Overnight stay and a two-course dinner at Forsmark ironworks, with the option of a sauna and bathing in the mill pond. Dinner at Forsmarks Wärdshus at 18:30 (drinks extra). Day 2: Breakfast at the inn at 7:30. Then riding towards Åsjön with a stop for fika, on to Berkinge ironworks for lunch and along Bärkinge lake. Back in Vamsta at about 16:00. Price SEK 5,950.

Day tours around Gålarmora to Berkinge: 12 May, 7 July, 11 August. Lunch at the Berkinge bath area, where there is also the option to swim. Price SEK 2,500.
