A historic island in the Roslagen archipelago

Marholmen is an island in the Roslagen archipelago, approximately one hour's drive from Stockholm and Arlanda. The island has a long history – in the early 1900s, wholesale merchant Nils Berg and his wife Hanna created the place, and in 1913 they donated the island to build a rest home for working-class women.

Marholmen offers several different accommodation options: hotel rooms in the main building with balcony or terrace and sea views, seven villas with their own character, cosy archipelago cottages with fireplaces and saunas, glamping in tents, and guest rooms at the Bathhouse Villa Berg. In the heart of the island lies the Art Nouveau villa Villa Berg from 1915, which can be rented for meetings, conferences, weddings or private celebrations for 18–20 people.

The island offers opportunities for conferences, team building events and activities year-round, as well as activities such as paddling, canoeing and adventure golf. A new spa is under construction. Guests can choose to eat in the restaurant or stay with self-catering – the stay is shaped according to their own wishes.
