MTB-bana i Hacksta Friluftsområde

About the trail: The mountain bike trail runs mainly along the outer edge of the Hacksta forest and can be joined from several footpaths and cycle paths. The trail has bends, uphill and downhill sections, and jumps. The whole trail is 3.8 km long, and the connection from Österåker sports centre to the loop is 400 metres. There are challenges along the way, marked with a trail symbol as well as arrows and text referring to an easy or difficult option. Many people move around in the area; when meeting others you should reduce speed and warn others. Safety: You pass cycle paths and exercise trails; at these crossings it is important to be attentive and slow down. Bikes must be walked on the exercise trail. Ride clockwise, since the trail is built so that bends and obstacles are taken from this direction, which is also a safety aspect. You pass near the disc golf area; be careful if a player is ready to throw. Avoid cycling on the trail when it is at its wettest, as the trail can be damaged; nature is most sensitive in spring. In dry conditions there may be loose gravel on the trail. Getting here: You reach the MTB trail from, for example, Österåker sports centre (Hackstavägen/Bergavägen), the Hacksta cabin (Norrgårdsvägen/Malvavägen) or the residential area at Backsippevägen.
