A nature trail for children and adults who have kept their childlike spirit. The trail runs through the forest area next to Hargshamn community hall and is 250 metres long. The idea is that a walk along the trail should be both educational and fun for younger children.
The play ant welcomes the visitor into the forest where there is much to discover, and in the glade stands the giant mushroom that many can fit beneath. A number of red boxes are placed along the path that you can open and look inside. Wood sculptures and forest benches are made by Hans Gustavsson from Söderön and are also found along the path. The play ant and the insect boxes will rest indoors during the winter and reappear on 30 April. They are then in place until 6 November 2022. The path has been developed in collaboration with the artist Leif Högström, from Tobo. Hargshamn's Community Hall Association, village council and parents' association are behind the project, with Erik Ljungholm as project leader.
