Näsbypark Church

Näsbypark Church is located in the Näsbypark district in Täby Municipality and belongs to Täby Parish within the Stockholm Diocese. The church is a so-called mobile church built in wood according to designs by architect Rolf Bergh, and was inaugurated in late August 1980.

The building has a square floor plan and is topped by a pyramid-shaped roof covered with black-painted corrugated metal. The four corners have glazed windows, and a narrow row of windows runs along the roof edge, providing characteristic light entry. The church is connected to a villa used for parish activities, and on the property there is also a freestanding bell tower designed by Rune Monö.

Art and Furnishings

The altar, baptismal font and pulpit are all designed by the church's architect Rolf Bergh, which gives the interior a unified design. Among the artworks is a tapestry by Karin Walde and a cross in front of it, created by sculptor Olle Adrin. The church's organ, with 14 stops, was built in 1981 by Walter Thür Orgelbyggen in Torshälla.
