The nature reserve consists of an oak pasture and is beautifully located on the southeastern shore of Lake Erken.
Here there are oak, maple, ash, lime and other deciduous trees together with many other plants and animals.
Here you'll find winding forest paths and lovely views towards Erken. In spring and summer, hepatica, wood anemones and cowslips bloom together with many other plants. In the many hollow oaks live both tawny owls and bats.
In the eastern part of the nature reserve there is a burial ground with graves from the younger Iron Age.
