Örsö is located southeast of southern Ljusterö, which you can reach via Staveström. Örsö has the highest point in the middle archipelago, 42 metres above sea level. The island has approximately 30 permanent residents and has been inhabited since the 1600s.
Waxholmsbolaget operates Örsö year-round, but not as frequently throughout the entire year. Hoist the semaphore if you want to board the boat.
