Österåker Municipality has grilling areas in several of its outdoor recreation areas – from Hacksta in the centre of Åkersberga to the nature reserves in Trastsjöskogen and at Domarudden.
Grilling Areas in Österåker
Österåker has a number of designated grilling areas in the municipality's outdoor spaces. Below you will find the places confirmed by the municipality's own sources.
Hacksta Outdoor Area
Hacksta is centrally located in Åkersberga and is a popular outdoor area with mountain biking, jogging trails, disc golf and an obstacle course. The area has a designated grilling spot – a great combination with an active day outdoors.
Trastsjöskogen
Trastsjöskogen is a nature area with 200-year-old pine trees, adventure trails and a natural playground. Along the marked trails there are small lakes with grilling spots – an idyllic option for the whole family. The area can be accessed from several entrances around the forest.
Domarudden
Domarudden outdoor area offers forest, lakes, bathing spots and hiking trails. A grilling spot is available adjacent to the outdoor facility. Domarudden is also the starting point for stage 5 on Roslagsleden.

Bathing area with grilling spot – a simple and accessible option for the southern parts of the municipality.
