Österåker heritage museum and Stenhagen's store

Here many fine and interesting objects are preserved. You can see old wedding dresses, uniforms, costumes, tools, writing implements, paintings, prints, household utensils and more. On site there are knowledgeable guides, ready to make your visit an instructive, pleasant and fun experience! Stenhagen's store has long ceased to be the central shop it once was, but the building remains, and now the Österåker handicraft and weaving association is here. They sell rag rugs, knitted and crocheted items and other handicrafts, as well as coffee with home-baked bread.
