About the Heritage Homestead
Österbybruks heritage homestead is located near the legendary manor house and industrial heritage area in northern Roslagen and is managed by Dannemora Heritage Society. The homestead brings together a number of well-preserved historic buildings that together tell the story of life around the Walloon ironworks and the Uppland countryside over the centuries.
The area includes a museum with objects and documentation from the region's history, a blacksmith's forge, fish shed, grilling area and boules court — a mix of historic environments and spaces for activities in nature.

The heritage homestead's garden and buildings provide a well-preserved picture of how an older industrial-era farmstead could look.
