Vem passar det för?
Den som vill bo bekvämt utan att laga sin egen mat, men som tycker att hotell är opersonligt. Par, vänner på weekendresa och vandrare som vill ha en riktig säng mitt i en tur.
Mindre lämpligt för stora sällskap eller den som vill komma och gå anonymt vid alla tider.
Säsong
Många pensionat har säsong och stänger under vintern. De som ligger i tätorterna håller oftare öppet året runt.
Utanför högsäsong är det lugnare och billigare, och värdarna har mer tid. Flera menar att september och maj är de trevligaste månaderna att bo på pensionat i Roslagen.
Boka i tid
Antalet rum är litet. Under sommarveckor och särskilt kring midsommar bokas de tidigt. Ring hellre än att bara mejla — många drivs av få personer och svarar snabbare i telefon.
