Pensionat Solgården i Grisslehamn

Pensionat Solgården is an archipelago guesthouse with roots in the 1930s, with tiled stoves, gable beds and chamber-pot cabinets. There is a large garden, and it is close to Grisslehamn centre. In the cosy kitchen you can cook and finish off in front of the fire.

Things to do in and around Grisslehamn: At Pensionat Solgården you can hire bikes and get help with maps and tips for day tours. For those who want to hike, the Roslagsleden trail is nearby. In the harbour there is both fresh and smoked fish as well as a chocolate shop with a café. Edblad has its design and clothing shop next to the ferry terminal. In summer there are a number of restaurants to choose from, as well as music and dancing at restaurants and several art exhibitions. There is both a sandy beach and rocks within walking distance of Solgården. In collaboration with Eckerölinjen, Pensionat Solgården offers all guests free tickets (Åland return).

Hire Solgården: During low season, with the exception of certain weekends, you can hire the whole guesthouse. 4 double rooms for 8 people, a kitchen, dining room and common room. Guests have used it for family parties, birthday parties, company kick-offs and meet-ups with friends.

Cabins: Pensionat Solgården has been expanded with self-catering cabins, located in the garden.

Conference: The guesthouse hosts small course and conference groups who arrange their own lunch and dinner. They offer overnight stays with breakfast and conference rooms. On request they can arrange morning and afternoon fika with home-baked buns. The kitchen is used for self-catering or catering. Lunch and dinner can also be booked at one of the restaurants in the village: Hotell Havsbaden 0175-30930, Akilles Tarverna 0175-30085.
