Ramhäll Community Hall and Heritage Farmstead

The home of the Ramhäll Community Hall and Heritage Association is the now-closed school from the 1880s, where there is, among other things, a preserved old-fashioned schoolroom from the mid-1900s. The old school building contains, among other things, the museum schoolroom, a photo and material exhibition from the mining era, a display case with old clothes from the area, and a collection of wood-carved figures. The community hall/heritage farmstead is open for viewing at events, but can also be shown by arrangement. In and around the old school, many activities are arranged, such as auctions, theatre, song evenings, pub nights, and public and private parties. There is the possibility of renting all or part of the community hall. The Ramhäll Community Hall and Heritage Association, which was started in 1985, annually arranges many well-attended events and activities. The association can also arrange guided mine walks at Ramhäll Mines for larger groups and after confirmed booking. The community hall is accessibility-adapted and approved by HSO Östhammar.
