Roslagsmuseet

Roslagsmuseet displays objects from the Roslagsmuseet collections and the history that the building carries. In addition to showing public exhibitions, Roslagsmuseet also arranges programmes and events of its own and promotes and supports associations, museums and independent actors in the field of cultural heritage. Roslagsmuseet arranges guided tours and runs educational activities for schools and preschools as well as holiday activities. The rifle factory consists of several rooms of various sizes. On the ground floor there is a reception with a museum shop, cultural heritage information and the large current exhibition. There is also a room focusing on the restoration work and the finds that have been made, as well as a historically staged room where visitors can more freely touch objects and immerse themselves in history. The upper floor of Roslagsmuseet is a large, open space with a sloping roof. Here educational work is carried out with a creative workshop, workshops and lectures.
