Barnens ö (the Children's Island), between Väddö and Björkö, is known throughout Sweden for its children's summer camps. Thousands of children still spend wonderful camp days on the children's own island in the Roslagen archipelago.

Top-secret coastal defence facility! Strategically placed by the sea on the northern tip of the island of Arholma lies Batteri Arholma. Battery Arholma was built for the Cold War and was completed in 1968.

Björkö Örn's campsite sits beautifully at the entrance to Norrtälje bay. At this seaside campsite you'll find easily accessible, pleasant caravan and motorhome pitches with electricity. You can also rent a cabin or camp in a tent here.

Surrounded by nature, far from the bustle of the big city, in the embrace of Roslagen, lies Björkögården. Only an hour and a half by car from Stockholm and Uppsala, and easy to reach by public transport. Far away yet still close — could a course and camp centre be any better located?

In idyllic Herräng, right next to the forest and a brisk five-minute walk from the sea, lies Haga Gård. Come here with friends, colleagues or family to experience Roslagen from horseback. In the farm's cabins you'll stay comfortably and peacefully — for a night or a whole holiday!

Hargshamn is a small coastal community with deep roots in Roslagen's iron industry — here historic harbour surroundings, pilgrim trails and untouched coastline meet.
