Skärgården's Canoe Center is just 30 minutes from Stockholm and offers kayaking and canoeing adventures in the unique Stockholm archipelago with its 30,000 islands. Here you can choose between guided tours for beginners and experienced paddlers, private groups or multi-day wilderness vacations with camping on different islands.
The center also arranges activities for groups of up to 100 people – perfect for companies, conferences, youth organizations and school groups. After a day on the water, you can warm up in the traditional wood-fired sauna by the beach and take a dip in the sea.
Skärgården's Canoe Center received the 2025 award Entrepreneur of the Year in Vaxholm and now operates two facilities: the original kayak center by the water on Resarö and a new outdoor center centrally located in Vaxholm. Year-round you can rent kayaks, canoes and SUP boards or book a self-guided tour.
