The Swedish Tourist Association's local branch, Norra Roslagen, covers Östhammar municipality. Here you'll find, among other things, a magnificent coast and archipelago, forests rich in lime and orchids, a mosaic-like farming landscape where grazing cattle have left their mark and created flowering meadows, and not least interesting Walloon ironworks and culturally historic settings.
A local branch of STF in northern Roslagen. In the area, the Walloon ironworks offer guided tours, music experiences and art exhibitions in summer, and many people come to the Roslagen small towns of Öregrund and Östhammar and their surroundings for tourism and recreation. The local branch offers a range of activities for different ages and interests. In summer, boat excursions in the archipelago are arranged. The activities include walks, cycling tours and other nature experiences as well as slideshows about the mountains and other destinations. The local branch also makes study visits to companies and visits artists and cultural institutions.
