Tolvmansgården i Rimbo

Tolvmansgården is located in Liesta village just outside Rimbo and is first mentioned in 1384. In 1730, the village consisted of three homesteads, of which Tolvmansgården was one. The farm was moved to its present location in the middle of the 19th century. The name Tolvmansgården comes from the fact that the homestead was inhabited by a tolvman, which can be compared to a parish councillor. The farm consists of the former residential building Bondens hus, a barn and a lidret. The lidret has since been converted into a community gathering space with a modern kitchen.
