The bathing spot at Valsjön is small with a smaller sheltered sandy beach. Near the area lies Trastsjöskogen, with many long paths stretching around Trastsjön and Södersjön. Not far from Valsjön there is a car park. Here there is also a nature playground and an accessibility-adapted walking loop of about 1 km.
