Vaxholms Bed & Breakfast

At Vaxholm Bed & Breakfast there is accommodation in two rooms. The Studio has room for two people and the Family Room has room for four. Both rooms are on the ground floor of a 1930s villa and have their own entrance from the street and a patio outside the door. The beds are made up on arrival, and in the bathroom there are towels, shampoo, soap, a hairdryer and more. Both rooms have their own kitchenette with a coffee maker, microwave, fridge and a hotplate for simple meals. You can choose to book including a breakfast basket or shop on your own. Coffee and tea are available in the room.

Shop: In the courtyard behind Vaxholm Bed & Breakfast there is one of Vaxholm's smallest shops, focusing on local products and Swedish crafts, including the Vaxholm fabric and local ceramics. You can also have a soup or coffee with home-baked goods in the garden.

The garden café: Wednesday-Friday the garden café is open, with the soup of the week with focaccia, home-baked goods and waffles. You can sit in Växthuset or in the garden, or take away.

Conference: In Växthuset in the courtyard you can hold conferences undisturbed. You are the only guests and have both Växthuset and the courtyard to yourselves. Fika, lunch and dinners are prepared for you. Växthuset is open for conferences for groups of up to 12 people from March to November, or for as long as the temperature stays a few degrees above zero. There is a stove that can be lit.

Conference packages: Half-day conference – access to Växthuset 9-13 or 13-17. For a morning conference, coffee and breakfast rolls are set out on arrival, and for an afternoon conference, fika with cinnamon buns and other home-baked goods is served. Lunch can be added and is served in Växthuset. Full-day conference – access to Växthuset 9-17, with morning fika with coffee and breakfast rolls, lunch and afternoon fika with buns and other home-baked goods.

Company dinner: Växthuset can be booked for a private company dinner. The food is cooked for you, and you have the whole of Växthuset and the courtyard to yourselves all evening. The menu is decided together and the food is served on platters and shared bowls directly on the table. There is a full licence, so beer or wine with the food is fine. Times 18-22.

Overnight stay: All conferences can be combined with an overnight stay. At Vaxholm B&B there are 7 beds in shared rooms. If you are more, accommodation can be recommended with nearby colleagues. Breakfast is eaten together in Växthuset.

Team activities: Workshops in praline making and cinnamon bun baking are offered. You can also take part in a cook-along where you cook the evening's dinner. You can also book a guided city walk through Vaxholm's oldest neighbourhoods with stories about life among soldiers, fishermen and summer guests at the end of the 1800s.
