Wägerths konstsmide - Wira bruk

Smithies: At the ironworks on Finnbergavägen 6 there is a smithy staffed daily by the artistic smiths PO Davidsson, Jonas Wägerth and Jimmy Kindbladh. In the shop, Sara Wägerth Elm works. The person responsible for the business is Jonas Wägerth. At the lower fall in the ironworks there is a smithy from the 1700s and one from the 1800s. Next to these is a newer smithy that is sometimes used in summer.

The Wira Bruk Museum: On the way down to the smithies you pass the Alderman's Cottage (Åldermansstugan), where an ironworks museum is housed. There it is shown what has been made on the site over the centuries, and the history of Wira is presented. The museum is open for groups 1 May–30 September. During the summer, open from Midsummer to early August.

The Wira Bruk Courthouse: The courthouse is opposite the inspector's residence. Here the Southern Roslagen judicial district held assizes from the late 1700s until 1904. According to an unconfirmed source, some judges were snowed in here in 1810 and then invented the card game Wira.

Wira Restaurant, the Courthouse: Here dishes, sandwiches and fika bread are served. There is an outdoor terrace.

Guided tour of Wira Bruk: A guided tour of the ironworks can be booked 1 May–30 September. A historical guided tour takes about 1 hour with a walk around the ironworks and ends with a visit to the museum and the metalwork shop. The total time for the visit is 1.5 hours. You can book coffee in connection with the guided tour.
