Waxholms Golf Club is beautifully situated by Askrikefjärden on Bogesundslandet, just 25 minutes from Stockholm. The facility is surrounded by the archipelago's green islands and blue waters, in the midst of untouched nature.
The club offers two courses, both designed by Tommy Nordström and completed in 1995. The 18-hole course is a varied forest and park course with varied holes and difficulty levels, which at the time of construction was one of Europe's longest from the back tees. The course has hosted the Challenge Tour on two occasions, and the course record is held by Welshman Stuart Manley with 64 strokes. In addition, there is a popular 9-hole course with nine par 3 holes ranging from 70 to 122 metres.
Waxholms GK is an active club with regular competitions, category teams and member activities throughout the season.
