Waxholms Hotell

Waxholms Hotell is newly renovated in classic style with a preserved historic atmosphere. The hotel offers brunch, afternoon tea and dinner in the Matsalen restaurant as well as an outdoor terrace at Lilla Strand. The hotel has a total of 65 beds across 42 hotel rooms and suites. There are 6 conference rooms of various sizes; the largest seats 50 people in theatre seating, and the premises are newly restored. The hotel is located by Västerhamnen in central Vaxholm, within walking distance of most things. The archipelago boats moor right outside and the bus stop is a 2-minute walk away.

The restaurant: Restaurant Matsalen is located by the Vaxholm quay and has a view over the water. The menu includes, among other things, Waxholm herring with mashed potatoes and stirred lingonberries, home cooking, classic meat dishes and seasonally varying dishes. Tables can be booked.

Weddings: The hotel hosts weddings. The guests can arrive by boat, spend time on the terrace, eat in Matsalen, dance in the function room one floor up and stay overnight on site. The next morning can begin with brunch. Information and booking are available at the hotel.
